99X Unplugged In the Park 2011

99X, Park Tavern, Miller Lite, and Bacardi have teamed up once again to get music fans up close and personal with some of today's best singer-songwriters as we present the 2011 Unplugged in the Park Music series. Back for its 9th consecutive year providing the best FREE music in Atlanta, in the best atmosphere in town each Sunday throughout the summer, this Unplugged season promises to have something for everyone.

With return engagements from the likes of Sonia Leigh, Alice Peacock, Angie Aparo and Matthew Perryman Jones to Unplugged newcomers like Griffin House, Ingram Hill, and Carbon Leaf, to up and coming locals Connor Christian & Southern Gothic, Blair Crimmins & The Hookers and The Whiskey Gentry... this Unplugged season is packed with great bands and artists guaranteed to have something for everyone.

And as always it all goes down in the friendly, laid-back, and air conditioned confines of Park Tavern in the shadows of the Midtown Atlanta skyline. Plan your Sundays now as the Unplugged in the Park season kicks off 20 weeks of FREE music on May 8th and runs through October 9th. Music starts each Sunday at 7pm and while the Unplugged series is a 21 and older show, children will be admitted when accompanied by a parent.

That's Unplugged in the Park 2011... Sundays May 8th through October 9th at Park Tavern in Piedmont Park. See you there.

Thanks to our sponsors: Great Tasting Miller Lite and Bacardi - Bacardi Together.

A note about parking at Park Tavern

As of July 1st the Atlanta Beltline has contracted Lanier Parking to manage the parking lot adjacent to Park Tavern in Midtown Atlanta. A fee will be charged to park and all fees collected will benefit the Atlanta Beltline.

The Atlanta Beltline is the most ambitious undertaking the City of Atlanta has attempted since the construction of Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport. The Atlanta Beltline will transform the City’s infrastructure and the way people live, work and play. One of the main goals is to build a trail that will connect the city’s parks and communities. The Northeast corridor of the East Side Trail starts at Piedmont Park across the street from Park Tavern.

As supporters of the Park and our community, we at Park Tavern are very excited about the development of the trail and of the mobility that will be afforded to people who may wish to bicycle from one part of the city to another! The fee is $3 Monday through Friday, $5 Saturday and Sunday and $10 for special events at Piedmont Park as well as Park Tavern.

The Atlanta Beltline has contracted with Lanier Parking to manage this parking lot. The fees will fund the further development and growth of the Beltline.

Thank you for your understanding and support of The Atlanta Beltline’s East Side Trail!
